You got it right!! We may still have him this time next year if the government does another "false flag" operation like they did on 9/11. Bush could declare Marshall Law and use an "Executive Order" to delay the election in November.

In the long run it doesn't matter who is elected. The same forces control both parties, and their orders will be followed.

The biggest issue is that the government that can be elected, and thrown out of office, no longer runs this country. That privilege has been sceded to the bureaucracies that control our lives. It doesn't help when the people that have been elected do a piss-poor job of it, and then rationalize Wars of Aggression as necessary to protect the citizens from the people that we are stamping under our boot-heels. Someone needs to send them a reality-check, though it won't happen on my watch.

And remember that the choice between "bad" and "worse" is still a choice. "Good" never runs for election.

The scary part is I voted for the guy (twice!) and I thought "how true" when I saw the stamp.

The good news is he's only got about 5 more months to screw things up, and he seems recently to be on a "guess I better patch things up for my legacy" kick.

Let's hope the next one (still undecided here, and I'm a lifelong GOP) does a significantly better job. Seeing as I blame MUCH MUCH MUCH of the problems with this administration with Cheney who multiple sources say acts as a filter for what information does or doesn't get to Bush (i.e. Cheney's really running the country on behalf of Hallerburton), the next two weeks will go a long way towards my decision of who to vote for.... one wrong VP choice can and will affect my vote.
